Sergeant Chip Saunders (Vic Morrow) from 'Combat!'
I started sketching this during the week, and decided to get it finished today for Vic's anniversary (23rd July 1982).
**Done on Corel Painter Essentials 2 with reference.
Edit: Adjusted his nose and mouth position.

I've never seen the show,but he shall be remembered for his great acting.

You mean a scanner? If you have a look around any computer stores, you should be able to find some. Or you can get a multifunctional printer, which also has a scanner built into it. That's what I use. Or if you prefer digital art, you could use a drawing tablet

Yes, Vic did finish acting in Combat!
Getting back to the scanner, they vary a lot in price, so it'll just depend on what you're looking for. Over here, I've seen them as cheap as $40 for a printer/scanner combination. Just keep your eyes open for a good bargain

This looks really good. I particularly like how you did it in a sepia tone, it helps bring out a sort of older feeling to the picture, which seems appropriate what little I know of "Combat!"
I'd say it's a fitting tribute to him.

Poor Vic, such a horrible way to go. Especially bad considering there were children involved... Rest in Peace, Vic Morrow.
You've captured him very well, Corad. It looks just like him. The brown is very fitting for it and looks great too. It's a wonderful tribute for him, I wonder whether he'd like it himself?

Thanks, Bijoux. I spent quite a while just trying to get him to look right. Hopefully when I draw him again, he'll come out a little easier now that I've drawn him once. The brown does suit him better, rather than the original blue. Gee, I dunno.....it's one of those things we're left to wonder
