A couple of predator bios that I drew awhile ago.The top left one is how I saw the Bone Grill Mask [link] from AvP, [link] . It was only visible for a second and I thought it looked really cool. THEN I saw how it REALLY looked liked and I did not like it one single bit. Parts of it are good but the overall look didnt really "flow" so to speak. The bones just look so awkwardly placed and could have been made better.
Anyway, the other lower ones are a couple of ideas sprung from the P2 bio. I really like the lower far right one, or "3". I am using it on my Vikingpred actually, on a new drawing.
The middle one with dreads and a bit of armour is a modified Boba Pred bio that I made some time ago. I like the flow in it.

From the top- I preffere Your version of "Bone grill" mask, the actuall one looks terrible-dont know if anyone would buy it from sidesoh
On the right-I see some AvP R concept mask elements, shape in the one that have those "tusks"
Left from Bobba- looks like Your version of Brandi Kyra
Bobba mask-it is georgous, It is soo nicely well thought, soo superb design-
on the right from Bobba,the lower one-with those narrowed eyes, he is like"Yeaaaahhh....I am gonna go now..."
3 based on P2 first is scarry, second one is very alien like third is a nice mix of ideas

Well the problem with the Bone grill mask, is that it is too much going on, and too much that looks unfinished and bad. It could be a really cool mask if more time was put into it, to refine the lines and things on it to give it a better presentation and overall look.
And you are totally right on the AvpR masks, I was looking at some of the concept arts and thought that I could make something like it, but I never really got that far and most of them are unfinished. Didnt like the flow of it... might make another try but unsure on that part.
Brandis Kyra bio, is actually that bio but with a few thorns at the back. She wanted spikes so I tried to make something but I never liked the result. It just became too much with the spikes on the crown, dont like it.
I really like the P2 versions... I will use one of them for an upcoming drawing.

For me bone grill mask is just Celitc with little modifications here and there,and finger bones on the front...it's just bad.
Heh,some of the concepts for AvP:R were good, some just hilarious. Most of them was not fitting as if the main character should look defined, and some of the concepts looked just bad. Wolf bio was really nice i think-best they had to offer.

Well, to be fair, we all have our own ideas and concepts. Some of them works and some do not. It mostly comes down to your own preferences. I can see alot of the bios in AvPR in real, on a predator, but not as the MAIN predator. Perhaps more in the background or as characters that has a part in a story but no huge part, you know?

for example all the preds from P2 ending-Not single one of them was as good to be main pred as pussyface.

I wanted to explore the P2 and see what I could make from it. The bio has such a different design next to the P1 which is more straight and slimmer in the lines and design, while the P2 is more... urban you might say. A bit more "carved out" and not as smooth as the P1.
