Description Ohhh, Wikipedia, you make it too easy.

GAYIFICATION OF THE ELEMENTS, PART 4 OF ???

I'VE BEEN KICKED INTO GEAR AGAIN BY SOME ABSOLUTELY ~LOVELY~ PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST AS NUTS ABOUT THIS AS I.

That little guy at the top is Potassium. :> I love him so. Apparently the element itself is very similar to sodium, but differs greatly in the way they're applied in everyday life. In my mind, that means twins/brothers with different personalities. I THINK YOU WOULD ALL AGREE?

So although he LOOKS pretty similar to sodium, I peg his actual demeanor as being much more laid-back than Lithium's or his bro's. Haven't pegged *exactly* what it's like yet, though. -._^. (Also, yes, he's eating a bananer because everyone knows that they're GREAT SOURCES OF POTASSIUM at least since watching Honey I Shrunk Ourselves.)

OKAY PART TWO HERE WE HAVE THE FABULOUS SULFUR. Seriously sulfur must be the coolest element ever (next to bismuth). Neon yellow in its crystalline state, BRIGHT BLUE when burning, and blood red when a liquid. Used to make gunpowder and associated with Hell itself, I believe Sulfur is one badass motherfucker. Also hates the noble gases. I want to expand on his personality a bit more later since there's just so MUCH.

A bit unrelated, but you know how hydrogen sulfide makes a TERRIBLE smell? The type associated with rotten eggs and farts? I believe when he and Hydrogen get together their personalities go to fuck, and they start acting like little mischevious dorks and wreak havoc. Awwwww yeah.

Thanks for reading all that, and if you didn't, I don't blame ya. |D Please, enjoy! The drawing qualities not the best this time 'cause I was rushing, buuut.

Also, I'm totally not an expert on this stuff, so there might be a weird quirk or two here and there. All the information above was discovered courtesy of your friendly neighborhood search engine. BD

Edit: holyshitsomuchtext So I felt like just having two character designs and a long-ass explanation was missing the light-hearted goofy element (AAAAAAAAAARGH PUN) that the earlier pictures had. >:} So, I added POTASSIUM SULFITE: FOOD PRESERVATIVES EXTRAORDINARE also I updated Sulfur

thankyougoodnight

I LOVE YOU! *Glomps Potassium and you*

You know, that is the Potassium ion because Potassium element would kill you if you ate it. xD Our teacher taught us this a few days ago by setting a Banana on fire!

Also, I LOVE sulfer! He is such an arsonist, am I right? *pets nicely* Badass fo-shizzle!

*Gets out Periodic Table Checklist* So that's Hydrogen: CHECK, Helium: Needed, Lithium: CHECK, Beryllium: Needed . . .. Oxygen: CHECK, Fluorine: Needed, Neon: Needed, Sodium: CHECK. . . Aluminum: CHECK, Silicon: Needed, Phosphorous: Needed, Sulfer: CHECK, Chlorine, CHECK, Argon: Needed, Potassium: CHECK. . .

*thinks* I vote for. . . the noble gasses next? Maybe preppy little et ceteras? Or maybe our pervy old men: Einsteinium, Nobelim, Mendeleevium, go on. Or maybe our country stereotypes (unless you can come up with somethign better) for Europium, Francium, Americium, an the rest?

*glomp'd*

AAAHH I didn't know that about potassium! XD Thanks for the tidbit, I'll have to remember that!

And YES, I imagine Sulfur would love to see things burn, baby, burn~ Disco infeeeeeeernooooo~

BERYLLIUM. FLOURINE. NEON. SILICON. PHOSPHOROUS. ARGON. *nods*

XDDD Oh god, Einsteinium and his crew as pervy old men, I love it...

omg you are so amazing!!
lol sulfur is pretty bamf and potassium is adorable!
we were actually just burning potassium on top of a banana in chem class the other day lol. our teacher was like "this is the difference between the potassium ion and element don't confuse them!"
well i totally love your mind and i can't wait for the next!

BRB FANGASMING.

I REMEMBER SOMETHING IN MY SCIENCE TEXTBOOK I WANTED TO SEE DONE BY YOU BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER.

Nnnnfff Sulfer.

I don't know whether I should start drawing comics about science with these charas or egg you on to do it.

YOOOOOOOOOU

YOU FIND IT RIGHT NOW

PLZ

Also, both. :> Seeing someone else do this would just be uuuuuuuuunfunfunf. SO YEAH DO

Crossfrown In reply to CookingMama [2009-01-11 20:04:20 +0000 UTC]

FOUND IT

Einsteinium. I was just sitting there thinking 'what would he look like hummmm'

Plus

Nitrogen. It's such an expansive element. It combines with magnesium, calcium, or lithium when heated.OR IN HEAT AMIRITE -is shot-

It's colorless and odorless, which is pretty neat, and is fixed in the roots of clover.

Oh my god I love science

CookingMama In reply to Crossfrown [2009-01-24 17:11:03 +0000 UTC]

Einsteinium, hmmmm...I wonder if I should go with the obvious choice of making him look like his namesake, or try something else?

And ohhhh nitrogen sounds like fun. WILL DO SOON

BAHAHAHA Another insanely amazing WIN xD
I will NEVER again be able to keep a straight face in chemistry [[when I am awake, that is]]
btw I love how you said "bananer" in your explanation
reference to a certain teacher?
LMAOOO

XDD Hahaha, right? In Ms. A's chemistry, there are two modes: bored and DEAD.

(Also, HAH, I wasn't even thinking about her ambiguously carribean accent when I wrote that, but now that I think about it...she may very well be infiltrating my speech pattern...;_______

MissaRissa In reply to CookingMama [2009-01-11 21:36:47 +0000 UTC]

i think I'm in the DEAD category

I'm kind of worried myself actually, every time I hear certain words I think "how would Miss A say this??"
