Personality Traits

Rash/Impulsive: Eclipse is a being controlled by his emotions, while he does have the capability and intelligence to plan carefully and weigh his options before making decisions, any strong emotions or views will easily sway his choice or cause him to rush things. He has lost many a battle because he got angry or excited and rushed his decisions, causing him to mess up. However, this also makes him better at making quick decisions and flowing with changes in plans, as he is used to having to make things up as he goes.

Passionate/Stubborn: Eclipse is very passionate about most of his opinions and actions often making him very stubborn. If he doesn't think something is right then he'll argue tooth and claw in his favor. He isn't stupid enough to ignore a direct order completely but will argue and complain anyway in hope to change the minds of those around him.

Narcissistic/Vain/Flirty: Eclipse knows he's got good looks and is very confident in himself and his appearance. He uses his looks a lot to gain attention, respect or to win battles/missions. He takes great pride in his appearance and spends a lot of time grooming himself to keep clean and proper. Despite his flirty nature however he isn't one to get in relationships often, much preferring casual flings. He also thinks himself to be better than everyone else around him and tends to try and be the center of attention. He will still respect authority figures but only in the regard that they have more experience in their specific field, but still believes himself to be better than them on a base regard and outside of their position.

Kind: Despite how it may seem, Eclipse does his best to be kind and help others. He does put himself first if it comes down to it but otherwise does his best to help out other pokemon, especially those he likes. He may think himself above others but that only makes him believe he should help those weaker and lesser than himself. What is a leader if not a protector and helper to their subordinates? He especially likes to help out and spend time with younger recruits as he believes himself to be a great role model for them to strive to be.

Backstory/Creation

Eclipse was born out of a fusion experiment done in the Team Rocket Jhoto branch, the idea was to combine two pokemon in such a way that the resulting child would have double the capabilities IV/EV wise compared to their parents. The fusion did mildly raise his stats but no where near the levels they were expecting. He was raised with his parents, working under some of the strongest trainers in the Jhoto division. When they finally did perfect the experiments they sent him off to the pokemon only branch in Sinnoh, the hideout, having no use for him now that they could do fusion with stronger species and better results. He was unaware of that development, simply believing they thought he was good enough to go off on his own and sending him to aid a weaker branch. He has strong loyalty to team rocket as its his entire heritage.

His odd colorations and patterning was caused by an odd combination of his mother, a Sylveon, and father, an umbreon, light and dark pallets. When he was born he was mostly white and light grey but after a year his markings had darkened and saturated to what he looks like now. His orange markings glow at night much like his fathers rings.

Strategy: Eclipse's battle strategy is usually to his them with dark pulse to try and make them flinch, then hit as fast and as often as possible with snarl or moonblast from afar, lowering Special attack before goading them into hitting him to be affected by his cute charm ability, from there he uses draining kiss to regain his HP and finish them off while they're infatuated.
