Yeah man, God forbid foreigners have health care. Those icky brown people! Why the focus on foreigners? You're not saying "illegals" here, You are saying ANYONE WHOΒ WASNT BORN INΒ AMERICAN SHOULD EXPECIALLY NOT HAVE FREE HEALTH CARE. Just come out and admit that you're a racist Conservatoons. Also, why does Obama look like an old man?

Foreigner is not a citizen.Β US citizens have no obligation for their healthcare.Β It is sad that you feel everyone else must take care of you.
Obama is depicted as the same type of bitter, entitled whiner you are.Β It ages one.
no hippies please.

Foreigners ARE citizens so long as they have citizenships. You can be born outside the U.S.A and still be a citizen.Β I know that you don't like it when non-white people move into your country but it doesn't make them any less of a civilian that you are. The thought of a brown person who celebrates a different religion than you, has a different culture than you andΒ whose first language isn't English having the same rights as youΒ is a scary thoughtΒ for you IΒ know.
Countries that have universal health care dont think that "everyone else must take care of us". We recognise that everyone has a right to life and medicine regardless of what they make. Because of this, most developed countries with universal health care have a higher life expectancy than you Americans. Another thing you aren't "#1" in.

I don't like it when foreigners arrive uninvited and unlawfully then demand - and receive - rights superior to taxpaying citizens.Β I further do not like them using social resources meant for legal citizen and their refusal to assimilate.Β And I especially hate that Liberals encourage and benefit from this theft of state resources.Β Β It is a scary thought for me that people like you are every taken seriously.
No.Β Nobody has a right to medicine.Β
no hippies please

WideEyedAndWorried In reply to Conservatoons [2014-01-08 04:47:39 +0000 UTC]
Why do foreigners have to be personally invited by you and other backwards ass cretinous, cantankerous rednecks? If they have citizenships then they are classified as citizens andΒ they resign in this country as legally as you or I. End of story.
Β
Yes people have the right to medicine. People have the right to life don't they? I assumed you are a pro-lifer. People die needlessly or prematurely without medicine just because they don't have a job that pays enough for medical insurance. Basically they die because they weren't a hard enough worker. Sounds a lot like communism to me. Developed countries with universal health care experience on average a greater life span then developed countries without universal health care. Japans is 82.59 years. France 81.67 years. Spain 82.33 years. New Zealand 80.90 years. Compared to the U.S.A which is 78.64 years on average they out do you by a significant order of magnitude. Universal health care must take some credit.
Β
Superior rights to taxpaying citizen? Most of these "evil foreigners" are tax paying citizens. I'm sure that every time you see a brown person you mutter to yourself "damn wetbacks go back te mexicoo you illgals" but the fact is most foreigners ARE here legally and most DO pay taxes. Also I think you are getting "superior" rights mixed up with "equal rights". Something I'm sure you're against. I bet you have wet dreams relating back to the "good ol' days" water fountains were split by race, don't you?
Β
So basically you're saying that nobody should have universal health insurance. But it is somehow worse if people who weren't born here have it, regardless of their citizenship. That's racist mate. Pure racism.

Let Me explain, they mean immigrants that don't come into the country and wait 10 years, although we should try to help, remember the last time we limited the number of refugees! More of the Jews would of survived if we didn't reject so many!

I love how you call everyone who is even slightly progressive a "lib", even if they clearly aren't a lib because they aren't M'erican. But whatever, I know the politics of other countries confuses you greatly. By the way Conservatoons, are you the editor of the cartoons of the Onion by any chance?

What do you think about the notion that there just isn't anything useful in space or that outer space is too harsh or expensive to research? I don't know if that's what I believe, but is that what people are saying?
Also, isn't NASA funded by the government? I thought you didn't like government spending.
π: 0 β©: 1
Conservatoons In reply to GuillermoGage [2011-10-13 03:36:22 +0000 UTC]
I agree in the short term deeper space is fairly worthless. It is one of the few areas where many conserves are willing to just spend money of abstract knowledge. Not throw money away, but spend wisely. Prudent spending in NASA has prob not been done in a long time.

NASA lost funding because shuttle flights and fuel are very expensive and if you haven't noticed are economy still sucks.

My whole life I dreamed of working for NASA. Because of Obama I had to no longer do aerospace engineering in school because the future of that job field has been pretty much destroyed unless private companies really start to help out that industry :/

Conservatoons In reply to brigette [2011-09-01 05:35:21 +0000 UTC]
Well, the good news it that space (orbital) is attractive to the private sector now. They are more flexible and innovative. NASA was/is a plodding beast subject to political whims. This could be good in the long run. China apes it does not create. Space innovation will come from the West not East.

What's more clever than the comic is what's on the board on the back. For those who can't read it, it reads:
AGW Rules:
-Weather must be feared
-Skew for the planet
-Tax energy for all
-GAIA is God

Well right now we are relying on the russians for space travel if we got a space program running and actually doing something besides going to a stupid space port all the time hell if we actually start going to the moon again we might actually have a space station on the moon like we should have back after we first went to the moon
