Yea so for some reason deviantart decided it didn't like the backgroundless PNG version of this piece but it looked bad with a white background so I eyedropped the color of deviantart's backdrop so now this looks nice and bad.
A little James/Lily love after all the Snape-sadness I put you all
through.
...Or I guess it can be Harry and Ginny, just pretend her eye is brown.

I love how somany people are commenting on how James wasn't a Head Boy. He was! He just wasn't a prefect haha!
It's mentioned in the first book (one source claims page 55) that he was Head Boy and Lily was Head Girl. Though Remus was prefect, James was chosen to be Head Boy (he matured a lot that sixth year). Remus himself admits in Book 5 that he wasn't an effective prefect (he certainly didn't keep James and Sirius in line). And it's certainly not a requirement that you have to be a prefect to be a Head Boy or Girl, it's just that it's more likely to happen if you were a prefect.
Well, I guess that's enough rambling about that. I think this is a very cute, very sweet picture. And the title is entirely fitting!
