Description Warning this is a pretty huge picture, sorry.

Hey long time no art eh?

I'm just not really drawing much is all. I've sort of lost my interest in it, I only draw when I should be using my time for more valuable things.
Since I'm doing a huge research project on Crocuta crocuta, the spotted hyena, this isn't technically procrastinating is it? Oh god I'm fucked, it's due on monday. On the plus side, I know more about the female hyena's genitalia than any person really should. Why can't scientists focus on their elaborate social structure instead of their pseudopenis?

I love drawing hyenas, though I'm kind of bad at it. They have all the features that i love to draw. Expressive faces, big teeth, huge forelimbs and big feet.
As always, the paper is terribly messy and grungy looking. I need a real eraser.

note: the pimp-cane is a bit of an inside joke.

These are great! So expressive.
I too am doing a research project on the Spotted Hyenaand you should've seen the look on my class members faces when i pulled out the slide show and had a anatomical diagram of a female hyena, one of the class idiots put his hand up and asked it i was mistaken cause "it's got a dick!"
I explained what it was and its function, needless to say i got some wierd looks and most of the class seems to void me now XD
I've loved Hyenas for as long as i can remember and even have a little plush one that "laughs" when you squeeze her belly!

Oh yes, my art blocks are like...not even blocks, because that implies that they block a constant flow of art, which I do not have. I would consider my drawing-ness more like infrequent cases of art diarrhea. yes.....

Yena's <3 Quite safely one of my favourite animals, you've done a great job on them!
And haha, I agree with you on the whole female hyena's genitalia thing. Most the information you find is about that, rather than their amazing social structure. It's quite a shame really :/
