The only thing I think this has going for it is the colour scheme honestly. The typo/font is just so basic and over used, you could call it your style but I'm not sure why you would. Also the repetition of the black lines is used far too much these days. I'm sure you could create something original if you put your mind to it but this lacks just that.
Oh and please, for the love of god stop using chevrons, enough already.

Excellent design my friend. I really wonder though...
I know there are elements artists refer to again and again,
and I cannot help but notice the + as a sign that you
use in many of your works. It could be your personal habit,
or some attraction to the simplicity of the shape, but I'd like
to know if there is anything more to it. For example, I often
(recently) have been referencing teeth as shapes in my paintings,
and have an affinity to include them within my abstracts...

Very interesting, can't say it strikes me as much as it seems to do to other people, but I appreciate the piece anyway. It has very lickable colours 
The background has a nice random look, which makes me wonder. How do you even start on making such random things? Or, they look very chaotic (thus random?) to me. Personally, I wouldn't know where too start, maybe because I am not one who likes making random elements

Kind of reminds me of an etch a sketch. I like the black outlines the most. Some reason I dont see the pink with this but it isnt enough to throw the whole thing off so...

Man that's awesome. I must disagree with *mrbasic , the comment above, because I find the opaque bar near the bottom perfectly fitting the piece.
Contrast is the word that strikes me when I look at this piece, the upper, towering half and the transversal plussie in the middle shows that all that simplicity and 'macro' simply fades to 'micro' detail. Amazing. I'd love to have it as a print, myself.
