You've captured the iridescence really well here.
I've never looked too closely at Rock dove eyes before. We've a Indian Ring-neck dove here, and her eyes are an amazing orange color. : )

it may sound kinda bad but my friend was skateboarding and his board smacked the bird so it wouldnt move, so i took a quick picture of it then we fed it and helped it, ect.
