Apperance: Gaylen is only slightly taller than the average Audino. His skin is healthy and clean looking much like his hair, which is a light pink with a few cream colored highlights on the left side only. Gaylen has strikingly bright blue eyes that seem to have a faint white glowing ring around he pupil. His DEFAULT OUTFIT is one you'll see him in most often, especially in the daytime. A very pink jacket with gray cuffs over a white sweater, also with pink accents. With dark gray jeans and casual tan colored shoes it's a very simple daily look making his slender look seem innocent. He takes some pride in his looks and over all appearance but is never overly consumed by it. By night time he almost always changes his outfit to fit the scene.

Prefers to be human as opposed to being a pokemon most of the time and carries with him a small med pouch with bandages and a tiny sewing kit, as well as a few other small healing things.

PERSONALITY:

Dutiful
- If there's one thing he's good at it's doing his role. Seeing himself as a sort of White Mage, what he lacks in terms of fighting prowess he makes up for in healing and support. He does what he's told so long as he knows it's not too far out of his division, believing balance is best to do a job efficiently. He's perfect with team ups and groups as every team needs a healer right? The downside is it could be easy to get him to take on a job you don't want, maybe with a little bribe or begging~

Friendly
- As an Audino, Gaylen's natural and very first reaction is to be friendly with anyone he meets, even those he dislikes. He prefers the crowds to being alone most days but he's no stranger to just sticking to one person for the whole day. Sociable and loves to talk about jobs and work, sometimes gossip. Being around him for the most part is a very warm and usually loving position to be in. He loves jokes and knows how to handle being teased somewhat, finding them to be methods of affection. He tends to get touchy or huggy when he's really happy about something.

Alert
- The downside to being a listening pokemon makes his ears rather sensitive to sound making him easy to spook or scare. His emotions waver in places that are dark or creepy, causing him to panic inwardly and very obviously. His listening abilities are still good however as in human form his 'feelers' are still there. By listening to an allies heart he'll be able to read how they're feeling currently. Being alert might keep him on his toes a bit TOO well still.

Slightly Sadistic
- He won't say it often or out loud but secretly Gaylen enjoys seeing others in pain. Both opponents and allies. He's not too sure why it is but it's there and he supposes it's because he enjoys helping others when they're down. It's a sick way of thinking about it but he tries to not let it get in the way of any actual healing jobs, or let on he really likes your wounds.

HISTORY:

Gaylen had never known his birth parents as an egg he was bred by a small, homey farm couple who'd sold him off to a young man. Upon his hatching the human named him Mace and together they traveled the region of Unova. This human he called Master was a member of a gang, a sort of small following of the old known Team Rocket and Mace had quickly learned the stories of them. He was for quite a time a sort of pet for the punk dressed boy.

Soon however the real plan took root when Mace learned his first few moves. He was a practice dummy for the gangs other pokemon and bought purely for the use of experience gain. Over and over he endured beat down after beat down just to boost up the small gangs more capable pokemon. He despised this feeling, being used with literally no gain for himself. But the need to please his Master overwhelmed him every single time, leaving him trapped there. Until one day, his Master seemed to have had a change of some sort and out of the blue began to train him and he alone. This didn't ease the past for the Audino though and regardless of his nature to love and care for, he ultimately resented the trainer before him.

They traveled more, Mace building on skills in battle and learning he wasn't too fit to fighting alone. His moveset was specifically set up for team ups and group battling for healing and support. He wasn't physically strong, but his durability was quick to bulk up leaving him to last a bit longer to heal others. This traveling and training went on for days. Weeks. Honestly he'd lost track of time after passing up level 37 or so and it only stopped when the pair stumbled into a gang of Scrafty. Leaving the trainer, his Master so injured he could barely walk upright. This was the moment Mace felt that strange feeling. A mix between wanting to help and wanting the human's suffering to go on longer for a bit. The gang of Scrafty had oddly enough left Mace alone and untouched. At first he thought they may have mistaken him for a female, though few did their reasoning was that they did not attack many other pokemon. Their leader telling Mace of the rumors he'd heard in Kalos from a fellow pokemon he knew there. Of a strange device with life changing features.

Mace listened in awe of it all. The gang of lizards let one other member guide him, away from the trainer and off to freedom. No doubt the rest would wait for another human to jump on and retell the story of the happenings in Kalos. The Scrafty accompanied Mace through his travels, all the way in fact at least till they found a pokemon willing to swim across the distance with the pink pokemon on its back. Their traveling had brought the two Pokemon closer, far closer than either thought they would get. As much as Mace wanted to bring the other with him, he couldn't. The Scrafty needed to return to his group, and running off to another region would have only caused trouble. It was a sad goodbye with a wish of good luck and a hug that ended far to quickly.

Reaching Kalos was the start of yet another journey and yet another travel companion. Arriving in Courmarine City, Mace continued his searching and along the way found out about Kalos' gang factions. At first he was unsure of being in another gang, but he trusted Pokemon far more than humans at this point. He was always the type to need others with him and a gang seemed to be a pretty good ticket into getting things he wanted or needed. Team Frou seemed the best choice, he could care less about WHAT they did or HOW it got done he just wanted a better life than being another Trainer's EX BOOST MULE. Through a bit of Library work he chose Gaylen to be his official first name, but kept the name his old trainer gave him as his last.

Now, aside from whatever job he gets from the gangs higher ups, he's mostly found carrying out deliveries and having with him hordes of various sweets. He has a habit of sharing with everyone all the time which is just another Audino trait he can't stop. Recently upon getting a new place he's considering taking in another Pokemon so he doesn't have to pay full rent or live alone.

The day was slow like most days were.. Today was only slightly different in that the young feline pokemon acquired a new thing to test. He didn't remember if he liked this food before or not but trying it would solve the mystery. And then he could add it to his list of things he'd learned about himself. It was just scrap food though. Half eaten and soaked in some sort of.....liquid he didn't want to think much about. It smelled like coffee however which was good, easy to explain since he was currently posted up behind one of the many cafe's of Lumiose City. There wasn't much choice for him to be picky, and surprise surprise! It wasn't half bad for a piece of coffee soaked bread.

He sits there in thought, gazing around to think. He needed to find a place to stay, to figure things out more. He needed a purpose or something. He takes in a breath of fresh air, closes his eyes and jumps up. Today was the day, THIS would be the day he'd figure out a path for his new life! Or tomorrow.....or next Monday- It didn't matter! Things were going to be different. Things were going to be GREAT. He could feel it in his fur. He just had to find someone first to help him.
