At whose will does this really happen, this parting of the soul from the body? The energy of life has disappeared into nothingness, or so it seems, and we are left with a shell only of somebody, something, that was once part of our life. Do they come back in another guise? We cannot know. We can only wish.
A heavy, disturbing work which works rather too well. Makes a heart sink easily into unfathomable depths.
