have another cat because im going to hell anyway :^) but i always wanted a dark colored cat with a corvid name. im already so attached slay me
the art is really ooc and sloppy but oh well. drawing at this size took so long but i need the practice ✧

a cat who has lost sight of the charm of being a warrior. though more than capable, she carries out her daily duties with relative impassivity, if not laziness. she however does not take her peaceful clan life for granted and is intrigued by the clans' history. can be motivated by a desire to understand, or a desire to nap peacefully somewhere quiet. sarcastic in (unintellectual) conversation, is easily annoyed, and can be hurtful with her forthrightness. despite this she gradually opens up if someone shows emotional investment towards them.

Brief Backstory · born to Smokeheart, a RiverClan warrior. had an excitable, rose-colored childhood anticipating life as a warrior, and loved the stories of the old clans, the battles and the alliances. in apprenticeship, she initially hoped to stand out and make Smokeheart proud, but she quickly realized she set her expectations high, and her enthusiasm faded as she realized this routine could very well make up her life. Smokeheart died from sickness over the winter, before Crow finished apprenticeship. without her parent or many friends, her world view became much bleaker than it already had; revisiting the clans' history she heard as a child was all she could do to recover what little's left of her sense of duty to RiverClan, and she confided her troubles to her mentor and her closest friend. she earned her warrior name and carried on. today she looks upon her unremarkable yet personally turbulent past with partial scorn; but she embraces the suffix of her name for its irony: it would remind her of the winter, when Smokeheart died, and the loss of youthful bliss that left her with a frigid outlook for the future.
