Description The final boss of the original Paper Mario!

Man, I really want to play this game. I could just play it on the Wii Virtual Console, but I think I'm going to try and get the game on an actual N64 to get the original experience. Something about the N64 controller's unique layout/feel and the feeling of putting a cartridge into the console just makes the experience better for me.
As for the final boss, I think it's really interesting. I like how Bowser has a well thought out plan that actually almost succeeds, and even though he can make himself invincible, he has a special arena just to boost his power even further. Bowser is smart. I think the music for the fight is also really good. The first phase has that sort of menacing vibe to it, like you're just trying and trying but nothing's working, and then phase 2 of Bowser begins and we get King of the Koopas. Man, definitely one of my favorite final boss themes. I find it interesting how the theme is different between the US and Japanese versions of the game. The Japanese version sounds a bit lighter, in my opinion. The background noise makes me think of Koopas. Like if they made more animal-like sounds. Dunno how my brain reached that conclusion, but wait, it has a weirder one. So the US version of the theme is the one I like more. The beat hits harder, and overall I think it's just a bit more intense, especially with the instruments used. I love the clanking sounds in the background. I guess in-game it could be explained as the arena's gears turning or something, but I had another idea. You see, to me it kind of reminds me of a kitchen. I know that sounds insane, but the clanking reminds me of pots and pans clanking around. Anyways, really good music.
As for the art itself, I think I did okay. I really like the Paper Mario art style. It's so cool and unique. Well, at least the original games art style, at least. I think the art style and designs have gotten a little more streamlined and bland as the series went on. The original game had some charm to it with the outlines around characters and the simplicity of it all. It's like it's all out of a storybook, which is fitting considering that's what the game takes place in.

Anywho, hope whoever's seeing this has a wonderful whenever they're seeing this!

P.S. - I can't believe Bowser went to Dream Land and stole the Star Rod from the Fountain of Dreams.
