Welcome to the first of what I like to call the "Downfall Arcs". It will pick up almost right where we left off...

This arc is going to be fun. It's not my favorite one of the bunch, and honestly, the original plan was kinda meh. I went back and looked at some of the original ideas and decided to tone it down a bit. I want to give Emma/Tomas some more to do, and I have a few more chapters with ideas that I think really help add to the story and characters. It's not going to be a ridiculously long arc, but nowhere near as short as Arc 5. It'll be nice... well, as nice as something considered as a "downfall" can be.

Had a lot of fun drawing this cover page. I could've done something really grand or epic in proportion (which will make more sense towards the end of the arc), but I think that the more basic and empty feeling I gave the piece works perfectly for the arc. First time trying out a bit of a different shading, too. I didn't use the multiply/add layers in my drawing program at all for the shading. It was all just colors I picked myself. Bit proud of that, honestly. Tell you what though, I think the shading turned out really nice. The lighting was fun to do, and I think the light streaming in just takes the cake for the shading here. Of course, Crys' shadow is there as well. Figured it'd be a really nice visual, and guess what? I was right. Lastly, I also put Tomas/Emma's gifts from Arc 5 on the floor there to note their presence in the arc as well. Just a lot to talk about, I guess. Weird since I didn't actually like, sit down and really plan all this out.

Anywho, hope whoever's made it this far into my story is enjoying it.

P.S. Fun little note, this cover actually breaks the trend I've had so far with all my other arc covers. Won't say what that trend is, though. I'll leave y'all to figure that one out.
