Description

An updated reference sheet for Crys! Figured all my characters could use an updated reference sheet because, well, goodness the old ones just make me laugh. So, yeah, a new reference sheet, even if it probably won't get much use. I didn't draw a back or side view since it would've taken me WAY longer to get these down, plus I think people are smart enough to figure that out on their own. Anywho, here's a description for Crys:

Name: Crystal
Crystal goes by Crys, however, and only a few people know her full name. She likes her full name, but just prefers people to call her Crys. She was named Crystal because of her shimmering blue eyes that look like Crystals.

Backstory/Overview:
In freshman year of high school, Crys went camping with some of her friends one weekend. After being picked to go gather more firewood, Crys was attacked by a werewolf and spent the next couple of days in a coma. After waking up, Crys realized that she was a lot stronger and faster than usual. After coming across the next full moon, she realized that she was a werewolf, completely shattering her worldview. Crys went from self centered jerk to scared and timid practically overnight. She distanced herself from her friends and spent most of the summer alone. She changed schools in order to protect her old friends, and barely went out. At the beginning of Imperfect Life, Crys meets Brandon and the rest is history.

5’6” - Human
7’6” - Werewolf

Hair/fur:
Milk-chocolate brown

General physique:
Human- Crys is fit with vaguely defined muscles. She is on the slimmer side, but never really shows it because of her baggy clothing choices. She also has scars on the left side of her torso from the claws of the werewolf that attacked her. They're faded, but still noticeable. She doesn't wear outfits that show off the scars.
Werewolf- As a werewolf, Crys is much more muscular, however, she also has a lot of fur that covers her, making it impossible to see any finer details whatsoever.

Favorite color:
Light blue

Favorite food:
Strawberry ice cream with little strawberry bits mixed in

Personality:
Crys is strong willed and her outward appearance differs between settings. Usually she will appear timid and quiet or outgoing and witty, usually leaning towards the latter. She can be quite aggressive when people are mean to her, usually preferring to snap back at them or just rudely ignore them. Basically, she doesn’t take crap from anyone. At first, Crys can seem a little hard to talk to, but after a while she’ll open up more and more, though she only tells as much as she wants, letting only a select few people that she trusts know all about her. Crys easily worries and has issues with guilt, but mostly because of being a werewolf. She wants nothing more than to protect the ones she cares about, and because of that she can seem a little protective. Crys can also seem a little clingy, though it’s more about her needing someone to be there for her rather than her being obsessive. On a more general note, Crys is kind hearted and likes to tease and joke with her friends. She isn’t the smartest, but is clever enough to put clues together.

Fears:
- Terrified of losing the ones she cares about
- That she might snap as a werewolf, even though she’s 100% in control at all times
- Being truly alone
- Not being able to live a normal life

Likes:
- Cold winter days
- Hot chocolate with precisely three big marshmallows in it
- All of her friends
- Her comfy blue hoodie and comfy clothes in general
- Video games
- Action, adventure, sci-fi, and mystery movies/shows
- Ice skating

Dislikes:
- Being a werewolf
- Rudeness for no good reason
- Nightmares
- Needles
- Feeling empty and alone

Werewolves:
How do werewolves work in my story? Well, someone has to be bitten by a werewolf to become one. Werewolves can transform only at night under a full moon or through intense anger, hatred, sadness, pain, or fear. When in werewolf form, the person is in full control of themselves, i.e. no instincts. Werewolves have increased senses as well as increased physical abilities proportional to their pre-werewolf self. Additionally, in their normal human form, werewolves still have slightly increased senses and physical abilities.
