I especially like the way you fit all those other animals in down the bottom. They all look great, and they do it without taking away focus from the birds.

I use concentrated watercolor dyes to achieve the brightest color possible.
I'm thinking of trying acrylic washes to see if I can get the same effect as the inks.
And, arches watercolor paper is a fantastic bright base on which the color can float.
