you know the other day my uncle was telling us how people are literally smashed against eachother in subs in Japan, and I started joking and said someday there will be a guy with a saw and an aze, chopping up the pieces to allow the automatic doors to close. For some reason I imagined it would come out fantastic drawn by you, so even if you find the idea ridiculous I'm leaving it

Thanks, Richard. Your comment really brightened things for me because I've been having serious doubts about the quality of my work of late (particularly Opey).
As to whether Opey has any reproductive organs, that's a good question. In fact, what exactly makes Opey a male? Missiles have no gender. I guess it's just the sex he adopted.

Wow. Thank you so much! In the original script I wrote, Opey's Dad was just going to be washing the dishes and, when Opey dropped the question, his dad would do the same with the dishes. Then the masochist in me wanted to up the challenge for myself in what I should draw, so I decided to draw a detailed model, settling on "The Titanic". But, then, that wasn't enough for me, so I had to also draw Kate Winslet and Leornardo DiCaprio on the box! This is proof that I'm insane.

It did test my patience, particularly the Leonardo DiCaprio part. On my way to the final drawing seen on this page, DiCaprio looked like everybody from Edward G. Robinson to James Cagney.

Really? Thanks! DiCaprio's caricature gave me a real hard time to draw. I erased repeatedly and it took me several times to get him down. The Titanic also gave me a lot of trouble. It made it all the more fun to destroy it in the last panel.
