After my announcement yesterday, (see below!) I thought I'd share a few pieces from the development of the Canter story while I finish up tidying the group & prepare the story pitch!! Thanks for baring with me, guys - it wasn't easy for me to go on hiatus for as long as I did but in a way it provided me with the right perspective I needed for carrying on with this project & how I can manage the group all of you wonderful folk who enjoy my species! From the bottom of my heart, I am so thankful!!

This image is quite old but it conveys a very important character in the upcoming story - Lacy! She will be our heroine and the story will be from her point of view. On my hiatus I did a lot of style experimentation, this was from early 2019 with some foliage practise featuring the flowers Lacy grow, which are blue hydrangeas!
