and youre very welcome! its genuinely messed up how artwork is taken and the artist isn't even thought of when they repost it. a while ago, I seen some really nice fanart that I always saw wandering around, then I see it on DeviantArt and I click the account. It is clearly not theirs when I press on the link, so I ask who the artist is and they go "idk" literally, just like that. it really just drives artists away from sharing their things on the internet, but selfish people dont care.
I totally understand the struggle and I hope youll soon post your recent art, im sure you improved a ton over a span of 10 years! <3

and i feel you there, about enjoying the comments and the positive feedback but the fact that art thieves are still lurking around and deviantart stilll does nothing about it to stop the issue from happening.
they should honestly create some kind of system where... the same image can only be posted onto deviantart once to avoid reposting on here, mainly.
and on the vast area of the internet, you really cant prevent it unless you only share art privately.
none of my art has been stolen yet (as far as i know) but i can completely understand what artists go through when it does happen to them. what would help in my opinion is that if fans who know and recognize the artist- comment and tag them in the pieces, itd at least act as some sort of source u_u
im rambling im sorry but youre welcome! i suggested to another artist who is going through the same issue as you and i said that she should do a discord server and only post her art there ,so that she knows where her art is going and knowing that its safe because nobody there will repost it :> it seems like a good idea, so you should maybe join a community and put it there!
