Despite Hannibal's extroversion, he had never had the chance to tell Cornelia about his feelings. He knew, from the very first time he saw her, that she had something special... and he would like to share everything with her, even when she rejected their friendship.
Finally, at the very best part of the event, he managed to take her to a nice spot: a little bench in the middle of the festival. Confetti was raining, decorations all over the place... it was the perfect timing, an important festival for and important confession!
