LMS Stanier Class 5MT number 45305 "Alderman A. Draper" works 1T57 "The Fifteen Guinea Special" Liverpool - Manchester - Carlisle and return on the Liverpool - Manchester section at Glazebrook on 11th August 2013.
45305 was originally listed to work the original 1T57 run in 1968, but suffered a firebox brick arch collapse the night before and never made the train. So this weekend, she broke the curse of 45 years and worked the tour both ways from Liverpool to Manchester and back without a fault
