Actually, I don't know the song. You might be thinking of "You Spin Me 'Round" (Like a Record). But yes, I grew up in the 80s! A friend commented that my work is like 80s New York style. I guess that was a compliment, though I am obviously behind the times!
I really like listening to 80s music now; when I was a teenager I was into classic rock.

I got the record from Ebay - with a bunch of others. This was one of two colored records I got - the other one was red and I used it in another painting.
