Ya I didn't do much highlighting with this because I thought I was going to make the whole picture a lot darker anyways. I think I need more lighting/shading for the hair when I look at it now -.-|||

Just a wee bit would be good. You don't need to make it so dark if you add some good highlights, too. As usual it's about balance

Haha you're right. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I could finish this picture because it wasn't looking good. So I didn't put too much effort into the highlights. My lineart for the hand looks really funny but fortunately it turned out to be fine after I applied the blur effect XD

Aha, so that's why! I was personally thinking the blur effect was the stroke of a genius as to mimic the camera effect since the hand is "too close to the camera", seeing the focal point of the picture is on Ichigo's head.

By the way, in retrospect, his neck looks a tad funky. I didn't notice it before since indeed, the focal point is on his head. You shaded it a bit oddly, and the neckline where it meets the jaw also appears a bit off. It shouldn't go in like that but should be somewhat smoother. If you wanted to emphasize the jawline I think you should've just added another line where the neckline and jaw meet.
