So beautiful, I love how you did the fur... I never heard of the program Black Ink, how does it compare with SAI?

Thanks!

Black Ink is a simple digital art program found on Steam (or at least that's where I got it.) I never really played around much in SAI (except in a demo) so it will be a bit difficult for me to give an in depth review. From what I can tell, Black Ink is a lot more simpler than SAI(for an example, a max of 8 layers). If you are the kind of person who loves getting into the meat of different tools then SAI is the better option for sure. Granted, Black Ink is an early access not quite finished/always in development program so that could be the reason for it. On the program's forums some people are worried that the developers go a bit slow. For me, even while Black Ink is limited it gets the job done because Digital Art is very very new to me.

Nice digital work! Glad to see you're still active on dA, how are you liking Black Ink?

Hey! It's good to see you, how have you been?

Overall, Black Ink is an interesting program. It is super basic, and lacks a lot of features that other programs have. This may be due to the fact that it always seems to be in development. For me, it gets the job done. I don't really know too much about digital art just yet, and a lot of other programs (such as Gimp) make me feel overwhelmed with how many options there are.

Understandable, I also like the simpler programs.  I would love to see you keep working with digital programs since you have that fantasy style, so theres tones of potential for you there!

I've been good, I'm going to get the dA core thing to make my profile look nicer for my new art. I'm going to completely rework everything and start from scratch. Its been so long since I was active on here that I want a fresh start. Ill keep you posted on how that works out. I also need to make the other social media accounts to post on, I really miss being the online art community

haha thanks! I certainly plan to keep working with digital. It's one of those things where I was wanting to get into it for a long time and I would keep putting it off/life stuff would happen. Thankfully, I think I'm just going to actively work at experimenting with it, see what I can do, and etc.

oh that sounds so exciting! I can't wait to see your newer art. ^^ And yes, art communities are pretty awesome in general. They can provide some unique inspiration, and opportunities to challenge oneself. Since art communities in different places tend to have differences in them I can certainly see the merit of having different accounts on various websites.
