Whooo after “only” two days of drawing I finished the main six’ designs for my NG!

At first I thought about doing this recolor thing that everyone is doing but I found myself struggle with filling out all these little spaces it made me really mad XD maybe I’ll do it later now that I have all the designs done.

I tried to find a good combination between the original designs and my own style and I really like it. I think Fluttershy is the one that I changed the most c.c I went for a deer kinda vibe bc I think that fits her very well. Also I tried to give every character a different body type, tho I’m still learning.
Also I experimented a bit with light and shadow and some tools that I only recently discovered (even tho I used this Programm since forever hehe xD), like clipping mask, multiply etc.
So sorry it it’s a bid much but damn I had so much fun!!

I won’t go into detail of all of the main six’ designs but here are a few general design things that I use in my universe: (all of these things don’t always HAVE to be featured, they’re just common traits)

- Earthponies tend to have fluffier fur and mane
- Unicorns have the shortest fur
- They’re a different kind of wings that are for things like speed, duration, beauty and such. Rainbows wings for example are small, thin wings, designed for speed.
- Pureblood unicorns have different kind of tails. Rarity for example is one.
- Pegasi tend to have feathers on their hooves, ears, face fluffs and tail roots.

- Pegasi tend to be the smallest and Earthponies the biggest species (that varies a lot tho because there aren’t many purebred ponies).
