Description         Oh Miraculous Ladybug, oh Miraculous Ladybug... Only this show could make a love square out of the same 2 people. Only this show could make it so that every single character (including Marinette and Adrien themselves) would not notice very obvious signs that the main characters Marinette and Adrien are Ladybug and Cat Noir. Only this show could make the love square even more complicated by having Marinette gain a crush on one other person (a.k.a. Luka) and having Adrien gain a crush on one other person (a.k.a. Kagami).

To those of you who are thinking about watching or have no idea what this show is about, let me warn you, you'll face palm A LOT, but you'll also enjoy the suspense this show has to offer. Some episodes you'll cringe, others you'll cheer at the top of your lungs. Some times you'll consider quitting watching, others you'll just want more episodes. This show does that to me. The creators like to toy with your emotions but they also love keeping you on the edge of your seat. Another thing about this show is that it's somewhat repetitive; especially in season 1. Season 2 and 3 get better at adding more elements and mixing up the format a bit, but nothing too over the top.

So... the main characters Marinette and Adrien have double lives as super heroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. The thing is though, they'd don't know who the other is and neither does anyone else except for one person, however, I won't spoil anything for those of you who are interested in now watching this series. Marinette is basically head over heels for Adrien and Adrien is head over heels for Ladybug who he doesn't know is Marinette and Marinette isn't aware that the boy she likes likes her as well, but in her alter ego form. As Ladybug, Marinette is more confident while as Marinette, it can be hard for her to talk to Adrien, she's clumsier, and doesn't act as certain and as serious as she does when she's Ladybug. Meanwhile, in civilian form, Adrien is more reserved, but when he's Cat Noir, he's flirty, not as serious, and often pops corny jokes.

The next thing to talk about is the miraculouses. Both Marinette and Adrien have magic jewels and have floating, small magical creatures called kwamis which go into their jewels and help them transform. Marinette's miraculous are her earrings which stay in a disguised form when her kwami, Tikki, doesn't inhabit them and Adrien's miraculous is his ring which stays in a disguised form when his kwami, Plagg, doesn't inhabit it. Both kwamis also have their own personalities. Tikki is a sweet motherlike figure who's always there to guide Marinette and lift her up when she's feeling down. Plagg, however, is almost the complete opposite since he loves to rebel, is pretty careless, reckless, always tired, and is always asking for food from Adrien.

Now the main villain in this show is called Hawk Moth. He wants these miraculous jewels. The ladybug miraculous is meant to create while the cat miraculous is meant to destroy and the jewels are quite literally yin and yang. When these jewels combine, anyone can have absolute power and a wish can be granted but at a cost. For those who haven't watched the show and are thinking about watching it for the first time, I won't spoil who Hawk Moth is and what his wish is, but you might be shocked!

Back to the ships now. Marinette and Adrien's problems are that they're too blinded by the ones they love and view them as perfect while not accepting their more flawed halves, Marinette and Cat Noir. This is why out of all the love square ships, (Ladybug + Adrien = Ladrien) is my least favorite. Yes, it's still cute, but it's not my favorite and that's why MariChat may be my favorite because it's them excepting their more "flawed" selves. Eventually, I do believe Marinette and Adrien will accept their flawed selves. Change can be hard, but the show is slowly but surely working on it and it's being really realistic. Ladybug does have a soft side for Cat Noir and Adrien does have a soft side for Marinette. I do believe that and I wouldn't be surprised if there were some small crushes secretly. Marinette also has a small crush on another guy (Luka) and Adrien also has a small crush on another girl (Kagami), but, of course, it's hard for Marinette and Adrien to move on because Marinette loves Adrien too much and Adrien loves Ladybug too much. So much so that Marinette would gladly ditch Luka and Adrien's alter ego Cat Noir for Adrien while Adrien would gladly ditch Kagami and Marinette for Marinette's alter ego Ladybug.

I know if you haven't watched this show, your head is probably hurting comprehending this right now. I know. It's a complicated show and my descriptions of things are not simple at all, so sorry if anyone's confused. Sometimes people just have to watch things to get the whole picture better. Anyways, the reason why I ship Marinette and Adrien is because they're both dorks, they're adorable whenever they're together, they balance each other out, Marinette is a fashion designer while Adrien is a model, they're both artistic, always willing to help others, and I just believe that Kagami and Luka deserve better than Marinette and Adrien.

As for My Little Pony, yes, I will get back to drawing more for that show. My OCs for my MLP Next Gen will also be sold since for the last 3 years, I haven't been able to get much going for that. I'm just one of those people who struggles to commit to things, but I try.

Another note: This style I drew in is heavily based off of Disney. If anyone was puzzled a second as to why it looks so familiar, there's you're answer.
