Description
Since shipping won on this poll, cinnamonheartxoxo.deviantart.c… , I decided to draw some of my favorite ships in which I'll use for my NextGens I'm making. Also, if you don't like this ship, PLEASE DON'T COMMENT.The stories for each ship will come soon, however, since I'm pulled out of my room often to do stuff with my family (and I don't have much motivation because of school), I really won't feel like doing stuff certain days, so please let me take my time on this and I hope you understand.

This picture is amazing! Ilove how you drew their eyes and the expressions on their faces. The shading is also a great detail

In fact, their foals are supposed to be bitter opposites. XD Fire Storm's personality is more like RD's. He's more on the wild and competitive side of things. He's a senior in high school, he lovesss sports, he likes to tease his little brother, and he's very talkative and outgoing.
Arctic Gust is smarter than Fire Storm on many levels. He's an 8th grader that's more shy and quiet and likes to paint pictures, specifically of beaches, seas, snow storms, etc... Because of his quiet and "un-awesome" personality, RD doesn't want to admit that he's her son because he's not as awesome as she is. However, Soarin takes more of an interest in him and tries his best to shed some light on his son's amazing talents and abilities.

Those are very interesting concepts of backstories for SoarinDash offspring,even though the concept of Dash being "harsh" to her foals if they're not as good and competitive flyers as her is used a lot. And also,Soarin usually takes the role of "comprehensive father" (or "loving mother",in a way) when it comes to SoarinDash Next Gens.

I just feel that RD would kind of be in denial of him being her son. She has an awfully big ego, but I don't think that means she doesn't care about her son. She's just in denial that he isn't like she is. When I write a story about this later on, it'll teach even a grown mare like RD a valuable lesson.
Just because someone may be a bit shy or insecure or may like art rather than sports, doesn't mean they aren't awesome. Every pony is awesome in their own unique way and that's what she needs to learn to accept.

Yup! I feel that RD having a foal that turns out to me more like,for example,Fluttershy or Twilight personality-wise could be a great lesson so she accepts this kind of "non-awesome" ponies and pulls her ego to the side.
