One of my favorites, made completely of soft Minky fabric, machine embroidered eyes and cutie marks, all clothes are removable, Braceletts on front leg removeable, all jewels removeable. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!! I cannot believe I missed this beauty before now! I am OBSESSED with pony plushies with outfits and the harem look is so beautiful and sultry. What a fantastic combination here!
First - the outfit. LOVE. IT. I like how you make it mysterious and luxurious without being sleazy. The gold and red work surprisingly well with Twilight's colors. The detail is just GORGEOUS. The more you look, the more you find. I especially keep coming back to that gold detail wrapping about the tail's veil. I also really enjoy how you mix medias - with the lace and the clothing materials and the veil materials - and yet made them work so seamlessly together. The shoes and bracelet also look simply splendid. All in all, the execution of the outfit is spectacular.
The plushie itself is wonderful. Love the curve of the tail - it is so lush and alive and just makes her seem real. Her proportions are nicely done - the minute change in height from unicorn!Twilight to alicorn!Twilight is handled well here. The horn looks flawless, the eyes are clear in their color, and the ears are delightfully on point. I feel silly for looking at the ears over and over and yet, working with my own pattern now, I know how difficult it is to find that right measurement and how precious the proportions become here. It looks perfect in relation to her body - it looks natural, as if it simply grew there - and yet you know that you, as a plushie artist, had to go through so much trial and error to get it to that level.
I also really enjoy your photoshoot style. The white and the landscape work well against her color scheme and make it easy to see her in all her glory.
Instant favorite. I feel like smacking myself for not seeing your work before! I cannot wait to discover your other works. Beautiful, beautiful job.
