The energy glowing effect has that natural fiery feel to it. Overall this is fine, though the character face looks slightly... cheesy.

Again, a nice, detailed piece of work.
I think you work better with manmade items or characters covered in armor, like this guy. Especially the green axe - if that is what it is. I've never played the game.
