Veins

Her veins wrap around her wrist the same way a tree's roots wrap themselves around the earth. 
They twist and travel through her arms and rush to her heart.
With each beat a blossom of blood flows through these blue and red rivers.
Her veins are just like tree's roots in the same way they flow and create beautiful patterns throughout lifeforms.
Each vein sustains a life in a new way.

I had to chuckle to myself upon seeing this my dear Athina. I spent the day taking down vines that got carried away on the back of my house. I felt just as overwhelmed as the woman in your picture here! well done my dear!!
