Description After watching Bird in the Hoof, of course I had to draw these
two xD I was going to make this traditional media, but then I
figured I'd never have it done anytime soon because of my job :/

So here they are xD

I like the hard and grainy outlines on this. Gives it a real sense of weight.

I really enjoyed that episode. Fluttershy is so cute and you did a wonderful job on Philomena. I loved her design in the show and i think you made it better! I want a phoenix!
I love how the show keeps turning out mythical creatures! Man, I really need to draw ponies again after seeing your work, but even with digital, I know it would take ages to get done! I'll just drool over your art instead!

Philomena looks wonderful here, the sketchy style used here really reflects her shimmering wings and body. It also works on Fluttershy's mane and tail, along with drawing attention to their eyes with darkened patches surrounding them.

It's lovely to see Philomena showing some appreciation for what the most compassionate pony tried to do for her. I'm sure she appreciated the attention and the fact that she could pull one over on Fluttershy, but she understands why the pony did it for her.

They look good, and if I say "a bit gritty" it's not as much the background as it is the natural way they have stray hairs and feathers as Fluttershy takes her fiery friend for a walk. I also love the feather in Fluttershy's mane, a very sweet gift (in the ep. IIRC...?)

Anyway, I really like it.

Fluttershy would probably love you to pieces, oh no not pieces because that sounds just awful, but a really really lot...

Just remember that if she gets caught up talking to you and loses track of time then suggest that you two continue talking while you help her check on and feed the animals. Then she'd truly be your friend forever.
