Three little maidens walked by a river
Luilæålæniå
When suddenly they saw a bandit stand
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Of the first maiden he took a hold
Luilæålæniå
And swung her round on her feet
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Tell me, would you be a bandits wife?"
Luilæålæniå
"Or would you die by this; my knife"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"I will not be a bandits wife,"
Luilæålæniå
"I would rather die by your knife"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Then he took his sharpened knife
Luilæålæniå
And then he took her young life
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Of the second maiden he took a hold
Luilæålæniå
And swung her round on her feet
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Tell me, would you be a bandits wife?"
Luilæålæniå
"Or would you die by this; my knife?"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"I will not be a bandits wife."
Luilæålæniå
"Then i'd rather die by your knife."
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Then he took his sharpened knife
Luilæålæniå
And then he took her young life
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Of the third maiden he took a hold
Luilæålæniå
And swung her round on her feet

Luilæålæniå
"Or would you die by this; my knife?"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"I will not be a bandits wife."
Luilæålæniå
"And nor will i die by your knife."
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Om mine brødre var her nu"
Luilæålæniå
"Da dræbte du ikke mine søstre to."

"If my brothers were here now"
Luilæålæniå
"You could not have killed my sisters, two"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Where are your brothers, then?"
Luilæålæniå
"One is a priest up northernway"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Where is your other brother now?"
Luilæålæniå
"He is a bandit, just like you."
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

"Åh, Himlens Herre hjælpe mig nu!"
Luilæålæniå
"Da dræbte jeg mine søstre to!"

"Oh, heavens lord help me now!"
Luilæålæniå
"Then i have killed my sisters, two!"
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

Then he took his sharpened knife
Luilæålæniå
And took away his own young life
On the green, green banks by Ølen Å

I am glad you like it.

You could learn french. Its not too difficult and people speak it all over the world... and it sounds cool too.
Italy is great. I spent some of the best days i remember there

Oh my! I know! Isn't Italy just a dream?! I went to Milan, Rome, Florence and Venice and I hope to someday live in a flat in Florence... on the river or right above the Dolce & Gabbana store.

I would love to learn French but I don't have the time. It's so frustrating!!! >< GRRR!!!

I should be posting up some actual WRITEN work soon because I've been working on an essay in my English Comp class. YAY!

Indeed. Sadly i have never been further south than Milan, but i would love to go to Rome some day
The southern Dolomites though... ahh.

We need 26 hour days.

Yay!

Rome is lovely but I did not get to see much of the city. I visited the main touristy attractions... in Florence, however, I memorized the layout of the city. It is just beautiful! I saw David and all... stunning! I was hoping to see some Caravaggio because he is my favorite Baroque artist but he was only on display back in Rome and my teachers did not want to take us to a museam *suprise suprise*. Venice was interesting but REALLY smelly and dirty. It was definately a tourist city but nonetheless I loved their artsy shops and such. I bought some of their porcelyn masks and they are hanging in my bedroom back at home in Fort Lauderdale.

The tourist attractions are nice, but its something special to see the "rest"
But museums are always fun.

We stayed at a friend of my grandmothers' hotel. He is like 70, but he looks and acts 50. He went mountain hiking with us, showed us a beautiful restaurant on a mountainside under a big waterfall, the apple orchards... he is great.

(Turns out its called Harz in english )

Its a mountain chain/region in north Germany. Ive been there on holiday once. Its beautiful. When i first went there, we were driving on a narrow mountain road (my first encounter with a proper mountain too) and as we moved through the forest we passed through the cloud layer (appearing as really thick fog, rolling down the slopes and through the woods). It was so mystical. Ive loved mountains ever since

Its not quite the Dolomites... but its nice.
