Nightmare

It was dark. Dark and silent. Slowly, voices rose around me. Mumbling to eachother, requests and small statements. There was sharp light from above. I opened my eyes. I was lying on a podium, in some sort of hospitals surgical ward. All around me were men in white with coverings over their mouth. I could not move my head, and i only saw them as they wandered into my periphery of sight. They seemed focused on my lower chest. To my left i noticed a large piece of apparatus. A great wall-like computer, with a screen that sent a bluish light out into the room. One of the doctors were using some sort of detector, waving it over me. Suddenly i realized that on the screens ultrasound-like image, there was a face. A diabolical one, staring at me unblinkingly from the grainy blue image. There was a loud, drawn out beeping noise. Like a flatline from a heartmonitor and the doctors scrambled. Nobody had apparantly noticed the image on the screen. The face was smiling evilly at me, grinning wider and wider. Suddenly it contorted in shock and let out a piercing scream. I woke up.
