I've been looking at illustrations of Rouge for a while tonight on DA and this one really stood out. The simple composition shows atmosphere and location without crowding the space. And something about the coloring is very striking. The fact there is no lineart (inks) is great b/c you do an amazing fully rendering the figure without making her look shiney or plastic. Long story short, beautiful work! Your style really stands out!

I adore Rogue! If you don't read the comics then movie Rogue isn't too bad, but if your a comic reader then they butchered the character lol She has so much personality in the comics. Thanks for the comment :3

I hadn't read many X-Men comic books growing up, but I still didn't like what they did with Rogue in the X-Men movies mainly because I've grew up with the 1990's X-Men cartoon.

Aww i loved the cartoon, i just managed to get them all on dvd to replace my vhs. When i read the comics i hear Rogues voice actor in my head. That series was fantastic!! Did you ever see Pryde of the X-Men? The storyline was so cheesy but the animation was amazing! They need to do another X-Men animated series was devastated when Wolvie and the X-Men got cancelled
