Description Cycris City / The Flat Planet

Scene capture from a 30second animation I am trying to make.
I will post a link to Y/tube when completed.
.
This is the surface of the Halcyon systems only "Flat Planet"
Called "Cycris City" The entire planet is a city and it is flat and square. It is a planet that can move out of its orbit and fold space so as not to be detected by the Calobos Fleets. It is a planet in my mind............................

pt.564 in the Calobos series
Not to be copied or reproduced in any form of digital or traditional mediums without my Written permission.

You are always welcome in Cycris City Terry. Why as a matter of fact, I have built you a custom suite with 4 floors all on the same floor.

I love the mats in this scene!
I wish Bryce could render that way!

Bryce does not have the render engine that Vue uses. I run a non-destructive render engine so each pixel is scrubbed many times before RGB is applied, thus taking longer to render but achieving a cleaner edge and deeper depth of field. It also takes 6GB-Ram just to run the program smoothly. They used Vue's render engine for the scenes in Avatar where you could see the floating islands and Vue technology throughout most of the digital scenes. Bryce has its benefits also, it is a great program.
Vue is also expensive to buy if no (Vue watermarks) are to be found(in unpaid version)My program was 399 and the one I have not even opened is 900.00 but my computer is too old to run the good program. Next year I am going to get a new system dedicated to 3D.
Thank you DON!

900 bucks! Holy smokes that's a hefty price tag.
I did try the PLE version once and I must admit I found it intimidating, not to mention the annoying watermarks.
I intend to upgrade to Bryce 7 Pro soon. I am used to the Bryce interface and have been using it since version 4.
Avatar is one of my favorite movies...

I hate watermarks So you have to always pay so much not to have them..kind of like giving the user the right to use pre-made mats and scapes, materials ect...I have to upgrade before I can run it
I almost cried when I saw the scenery in Avatar...Don't tell anyone.

chrisntheboat In reply to wingsofdragons [2012-06-08 03:43:44 +0000 UTC]

My renders usually take about 6-9 hours to render on the computer because of the settings I use so I can get clear and vivid pictures

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

wingsofdragons In reply to chrisntheboat [2012-06-08 10:24:22 +0000 UTC]

can you use your computer during that time?

you do get clear and awesome renders worth the wait.

have a great day

chrisntheboat In reply to wingsofdragons [2012-06-08 19:09:17 +0000 UTC]
