Despite Independence Day soon approaching us, it's about time we've aimed our retinae at yet another chara-quartet...Straight from Konami's ever-popular (in Japan, at least...but had its share of overseas releases - not to mention an anime adaptation) long-running VG series, "Ganbare Goemon!" aka [The Legend of the] Mystical Ninja, this intrepid and silent but deadly gang should be more than second nature to the entire worldwide VG community!!

Subject A (aka KID YING for the SNES release): A mature, hot-blooded Edo kid with a strong sense of justice and will, he will right whatever wrong there is in front of him, despite his short temper. For weapons in battle, he primarily uses a variety of smoking pipes ('kiseru').

Subject B (aka DR. YANG for the SNES release): A long-time mentor and compatriot of A, a surprisingly pudgy ninja, with an equally puzzling eccentric personality. He uses a different weapon in almost every game, most of which are quite unorthodox, being items such as fans or mallets.

Subject C*: A clockwork robot ninja, created & programmed by Monoshiri (The Wise Man of Iga), [and a very naive and honest one at that] who often joins A and B on their quest. However, he also seems to have a side-switch disorder that can make him from good to evil (a la Launch), and vice-f__kin'-versa. In battle he fights with the use of a long-range weapon assembly (e.g. twin kunai, miniature explosives, even his spiked topknot).
*Not to be confused with Uchiha, Narutards!

Subject D: A kunoichi working for the Secret Investigational Ninja (a secret peace-keeping organization), she often joins A and B on their adventures aiming for the same objective. She usually wields a katana along with her personal bazooka in battle...not to mention possesses the ability to transform into a mermaid.
