thank you it a side of a hill that got cut into to make room for a garage for the Hoover Dam. i was inside the garage when i saw the side all exposed and you can still see marks from the tools they used.

that is why i love being un-normal! it is like my sixth sense, i feel something pulling me and i just follow it...haha having this as my sixth sense takes away from other areas like sensing obstacles around me while i'm in shooting mode. i need to have my husband with me at all times other wise i get so engrossed that i'll walk into people, walls, trees, posts...just about anything that can be walked into.

the building is actually a parking garage for Hoover Dam and the builders did such an amazing job of integrating it into the side of the rock that it looks like a modern piece of art especially at night when it's all lit up.

i bet every trip to the Canyon is a new experience and you discover something new everytime. did you ever get the chance to get to the bottom?

I did, about two years ago they had a motorcycle rally that ended at the dam, and we got to take the access road to the bottom on our harleys. that was realy cool. have you ever been on the inside tour, another cool experience.

it's the new parking garage of the Hover Dam, the rock was carved out for it and it looks so cool that i leaned out of the balcony and snapped a few shots.
