Description
As the title says: it's just a random dragon.I felt like drawing a dragon, and I felt like... coloring it purple and orange. I might draw the trees one day, but I wanted to try something with a picture I took of the tree in my backyard. Bad idea, since I'm a bad photographer.
What do you want; I was extremely bored, and I take bad decisions when I'm bored. (I never thought I'd say that, but a three-day weekend is REALLY long.)
Once again, I should draw dragons more often. For some reason, they always turn out better than my human characters...

I totally agree with ~oOlilkittyOo's words "sunset pretty". The colors are so beautiful and calming, yet the dragon fits in very well with the bg.

If you don't mind, would you share your process on how you made this? o_o
It doesn't have to be too detailed if you don't want, but just an idea of how this came to me. o_o

Well, it's, at the base, a pencil sketch that I detailed with a black pen. (The regular, average black pen.)
I scanned it and put it on mode multiply, on a gradient background in photoshop.
After that, I just play with different filters, and I add the colors with the pen tool. (I play with different opacities and a blurry brush to get the ghosty/shiny feel.)
Then, I take a small brush and add white highlights on a new layer, over the original lineart.
