bizarrely, this was my first “husky drawing” sta.sh/01io7ozispi5... I started looking at husky men from the strongman competitions of the 30s and 40s..... I wanted a barrel chest
but ... somehow it became a Santa like fish man who seems slightly feminine (because I rarely draw men.....)
then I drew this dog.... and I kind of like it’s simplicity.... so I went with this drawing .... I want to call it Max, because when I was a kid there was a husky next door that I would play with through the fence. I loved Max.... but anytime I saw him with out the fence he was so excited he knocked me down.... so I was happier with the fence. .....
