uhuhuhuuuur; EYESHIELD 21 MY FAVE MANGA OF ALL TIME<33hand coloured gahh;; took ages( a while)
If you haven't read it. READ IT NOW. I wasn't a fan of sports manga before this. But NOW<3 eyeshield foreverrr.
= best art + story line + humour. the end was kinda meh though.

I didn't like sports manga until I read ES21 either... I just adore this series to pieces.

I tell you its the characters that make sports manga/anime amazing. The 'normal' anime and manga I guess focus more on the story and just having lack of character development in most cases 8D
But gosh, I got into this and loved the characters even though the storyline was so cliche. You can't have the team lose xD
If you like sports stuff, then I recommend watching Inazuma Eleven<3 another amazing series I recently got into!

I liked the end, though~ : D I was glad there was finally an epic manga that was epic up until the very end and didn't drag on.
It's also my fave. And the only manga with more than 2 volumes I'm collecting for about a year or so. I'm really bummed about volum 9, though. D:

In the manga, their uniform was green/white i think.
and the anime was brown :>

XD I liked Hiruma too, I just can't stand his swearing and cursing so I put him on number 2, with Mizumachi, Sena and Yamato trailing behind them. XDD Here I am blabbing my top five faved charas.... ^^a Actually, before this, my dA signature was Hiruma's words from chapter 325, "We don't have time to ask for things we don't have, we can only look for the best way to fight with the things we have. For our entire life." since those are the words that keep lifting my spirit up whenever I'm down. Okay, I'm blabbing again, somebody stop me!! XD
And I agree, the manga ending's bad, and even more for the anime. I concluded that it was a forced ending, meaning Jump's the one who forced Inagaki-Riichiro to finish Eyeshield due to lower popularity. =_=a
