My scanner came back to life! To celebrate, here's a character concept page.

This character is from my manga Hitsuzen and has technically made an appearance (see here: chiyo-hoshi.deviantart.com/art… ). Since I've increased in my art skills since 2012, I decided to tweak Higashigawa Megumi's design a bit. Actually, the design featured on the chapter 1 page is an update itself from her original design (maybe I'll post a design progression at some point), and there is very little different between this design and version 2, but with her official entrance into the series coming up at the end of the current chapter, I figured I should get some practice in drawing her consistently and decided to edit a couple things here and there along the way. She even got a personality overhaul that kinda just happened as I was sketching out those pages, with hints of her personality appearing when I was sketching these out. I'm still working on the consistency thing, and there might be a couple tiny details I'll edit, but for the most part I'm really liking her character more than before... which is a shame considering how she's a tertiary character with, overall, little to do in the story. =_=

I'll have to give her some side stories sometime down the road.
