orz; I keep forgetting minor details! Last edit I swear. D'x2/3 oriental pixel commission.
Hooo boooooyyyyy.
This is insanely late, but I just want to say how much I appreciate all the comments and favs and the love I gained for this little pixel I did. A special thanks to pricechi for suggesting it and Lyricanna for featuring it. I don't think I would have gained this much attention and love for my work if it hadn't been for you both. It's a great honor!
I had been away and on hiatus when I got the Daily Deviation, so I wasn't around when it happened. A few months later, I logged on, saw that I had 1,000+ activity. I thought, "Oh man, The artists I follow must have really been cranking out the art!" I go to check it out, and they were notes and comments for me! I was in shock and tears, it was the first time something like this has ever happened. I felt insanely humbled by all of it and hope to keep making art . Thank you!

Hey, would you be intested in some requests for an IGMaker project I'm doing? I really like your style, and I need character portraits, a title screen, and maybe more... There will be a ton of freedom, only the most basic of guidlines, the rest will be yours.

Congratulations, it's beautiful, but it's certainly NOT pixel art. this goes closer to oekaki-ish drawings than pixel art, where each pixel is carefully placed.

how can you say that? if you look at the patterns on the clothing it's clear that a lot of time, effort, and thought went into the pixels. just because it doesn't look like the typical, trace-over-a-base pixel art doesn't mean it's any less valid!

Of course that took its time, I'm not saying it's done quickly or anything like that, but there are lots of random pixels everywhere. Pixel art is way more meticulous and precise than that, not worse or better. DeviantArt doesn't really care about this but pixel art sites like Pixeljoint wouldn't accept this as pixel art. It's still very pretty :3

This icon has a delicate beauty that I rarely see in pixel art. You've captured the colour and flow of the fabric perfectly, and the character herself is gorgeous! A well deserved DD!
