I saw this right before I went to bed last night and I buried my face in my nest of pillows and squealed like a school girl. I was staring at this so long that my ipod died while I was staring at it XD God, everything about this is so ridiculously epic!!! You got her anatomy down PERFECTLY. The sucker discs on her feet are EXACTLY how I envisioned them but I like the extra little discs on her toesies!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that's such a cute touch, I'm gonna link this to anyone I ever commission of this gal. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh look at all the detail in this!!!!! The little lateral ridges on her sides and the light scale highlights are just too much Asafjkasdjkjkafjksdgjklsdgjkldf Gosh, even with her fish eyes, you made her so expressive and she's all happy and smushy. I just envision this pic was "taken" as she was falling off some ledge. It's really hard to damage her because of her subcutaneous armor (which is good because she is clumsy) and she has a habit of unsticking from things to land on people. I just wanna smooch her on the little nose. Chipo, you are such an amazing person and you spoil me so much. It seems like every time I'm down, you are always there to pick me up in someway, whether it is a beautiful picture, or just taking the time to comment on something of mine. Also, seeing your kindness to others is a huge inspiration to me as well. I am in love with this. Thank you, thank you, thank you soooooo much. This is a wonderful birthday gift and it has made my WEEK!

Oh gosh I'm so sorry for the late reply, life kind of got hectic over the weekend, and now that I read this I don't even know how to respond! ;A; She was so much fun to draw! I just realized I have such a thing for fish, they calm me and make me happy, I think it's their connection to water and bubbles or something, but now I'm getting off topic here hahaha! I'm so so so happy you like how she turned out and that I was able to cheer you up! I feel really bad when my friends are upset, because you guys mean the world to me. You have no idea how much I treasure all the kind words <3

I know what you mean. Fish just seem so alien and are so removed from what we are familiar with but at the same time, they're immensely fascinating. I am always in awe of the vast schools of fish on TV where, at the slightest hint of danger, they become this whirling mass of movement yet they never run into each other or how the colors you see on them on land are not even close to what they look like underwater. You can't have a full appreciation of fish unless they are in their element. Plus, there are so many kinds and each is unique in it's own way. I find it simultaneously exhilarating and relaxing to draw fish, even if you can only draw them in so many poses before it gets boring XD Awwwww, Chipo!!! You mean the world to me as well. I think about my friends a lot and I'm always wishing you well. There are no words of gratitude, in any language, that can articulate and convey all of the emotion I have for my friends. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift!!!!!!!!! Looking at it makes me so happy and I can feel my heart swell with joy. I know I sound like a sap, but I'm nothing, if not bluntly honest XD

Omg yesssssss, it is mindbogglingly beautiful. I looked up some pics earlier this week. Aghhh people are so clever and talented. It's like looking into a different world for sure. It's ethereal. Omg I love the Georgia aquarium. If you ever go, tell me! We should totes meet up and geek out over fish.
