The persepective on this does a good job of capturing that there's an emotional gulf between Gaara and Kichiro and the kids by the swings even though they're physically not all that far away from each other. The only thing that seems off about Gaara's gourd (the size seems good, if you ask me. It makes me think that even though the sand hasn't changed, Gaara has.) is that it seems to be a little off center. The top part looks as though it's right there by Gaara's back, but that would make the whole thing hanging at a really strange angle... But I could be wrong about that. Perspective hasn't been my strong suit.
Ah, I love those two stories very much. :3 Thank you for posting the link to them. I doubt I would've found them otherwise.

well, the gourd does hang at an angle, if you look back at the manga and such. although looking back, I see SO many errors with this picture. that's why it got moved to my scraps. I'm glad you caught the rift between Gaara and Kichiro and the others, though.
always glad to share~

Maldoror fanart!!! O.o *fangirls*
The perspective seems a bit off to me... sort of like Gaara and Lee's cousin are a little too big for the amount of distance between them and the swing-set. Or, perhaps, the swing-set and the kids are too small?

the perspective was actually partially intended; it's supposed to be that even though they're physically close to people they're still so far emotionally and mentally...or at least that's what I tell myself XD
