I hope this doesn't offend you, but I'd rather be honest than lie... I love the actual background. The curves are perfect and the gradiant transitions quite smoothly. I also like the objects in the lower left (the tear drop shape) and the brush work around it. I don't like your main focal point though - it looks too choppy. I think if you cleaned up the rougher edges just a bit it would look a lot better.
You definitely aren't lacking in the creativity department though, that's for sure. Mind sharing some of it with me?

I like it...I think its a very dynamic composition, almos exploding from the central point! My only point would be to soften those lines in places...they look kinda grainy in places...
