Ah that's just something you prob won't understand if you aren't shy.. It's like shy people sometimes prefer to be alone cuz when they're with people they get all stressed out of what they should say, how they look, if they're doing something wrong etc etc.. They (mostly) don't want to be alone though, but at the same time they do.. After the people left them, they might feel sad and angry at themselves of why they made the people go away.. xD it's difficult to explain...

Oh that's complex.
I was shy only when I was small, really small but I changed myself pretty soon. I was class monitor in my Fifth grade so it explains itself.
But I like shy people a lot. I have many friends who are shy in nature and only share their thoughts with me.
And my take on them, they are difficult to understand and to get their trust but they become good friends and don't screw as much as others...

Oh ok. I never found shyness attracting trouble, except maybe that you find yourself being often alone, or "weird"..
