As the clock was striking midnight, there was a loud whisper at the door ‘Let me in!’

A middle-aged man got up from armchair. His blond hair was reaching his shoulders. He brushed them away. Flames from fireplace were reflecting in his blue eyes. He put an almost empty glass of wine back on the small table and asked calmly: ‘Who is this’ walking slowly to reach the door. Silent, frightened voice answered him: ‘Help me’. He put hand on the handle and pulled it down.

When he opened, he saw Asian-like woman covered with black. She was wearing nearly touching wet grass coat, her long hair was flying about with the wind. He couldn’t see her face sharply, but he was looking at her for just two seconds or so. She hid hand in coat and pulled out something he hardly was seeing in deep dark. And she was last person he saw in his life. He had fallen on the floor, after woman shot in his chest.

She stepped above him when she had hidden gun back in the coat. She went to the table on which man put a glass and placed metal object on it. While she was adjusting her gloves, she felt suddenly pressure on her ankle so she looked down. A man whom she had shot to was holding her leg. ‘Pathetic’ she snorted and pointed a gun at his had then shot. She took tongs from table and kneeled down next to dead body and started searching for bullets. After several minutes she hid both of them in the pocket and stood up. She looked around the room and took out of coat small piece of paper and left it on the table, resting it on the glass.

Woman walked away with dispassionate face and her coat fluttering after her. The note left in the room was saying: ‘Debt is paid off.’
