Description
This started as a little warm up doodle of a venusaur standing upright, and turned into a little family portrait.In the early days of Pokemon, I used to try to draw my venusaur hoisting himself on his hind legs, so I could put a smaller team member in front of him without obscuring his face. This is just a fun little re-visit of that idea.
These fella's are probably my favorite starters ever.

Next to Oddish, my favorite greeny in the game. But no one can every replace Bulbasaur in my heart as my first Pokemon, ever.

Great work. I love the hind leg approach -- never would have imagined that. I like how you've got him leaning to the left too; makes me think like he's not entirely stable on his two feet.

Thanks, I'm glad it looks like he's not to used to standing up, I wasn't trying to make the thing into a biped, just switching up the pose a bit.

I dunno.I use to love these three with a passion, but for some reason, I like the Charmander family better now. I wonder why that is... Bad ass tho. :3

Thats OK, the char family is pretty cool, I actually think charmeleon is my favorite 2nd stage evo of the 1st gen starters.

Dude bulbasaur is totally one of the best, if not THE best. Love the venusaur on his hind legs too, it must be strong to be able to stand that way
