Was at the darkmoon faire this week and thought it'd be a good setting for this piece WOW! COOOOOOOL WORLD OF WARCRAFT STUFF
Took a surprisingly low amount of time, about 4 hours rounded up (i feel like it was much longer than that though)
I like how this came out
I wanna do more dark-ish pieces like this.Even though i really like wolves, the darker colored ones have always made me a little scared. I remember having nightmares about black wolves as a kid and I feel a bit uncomfortable lookin at this picture from a distance, SPOOKY 5 ME

This looks good as far as the anatomy, but the background is veryβ¦sloppy. Any plans on improving possibly? Other than that, nice piece.

Glad you like the anatomy! I've been trying a different sketching technique, seems like it's working out well. The background's meant to be messy, as..that's how some forests are. It was intentionally painted to have lots of shadows and branches and all sorts of stuff in it, so it's very busy but I like it!
