I did more Starfall stuff! And am doing more Starfall stuff! Here's Sibyl. I'm writing this story, slowly but surely - I've definitely got a lotta catching up to do in terms of writing skill, given the last time I really sat down to write fiction was when I was 12 and roleplayed warrior cats on proboards forums. I have figured out a few things to improve my writing though, and I expect it'll take time, and likely won't be the best thing in the world since it is my first attempt at writing an original thing, ya know? But I hope to make it as good as I can. As I write more, I find that I'm kinda figuring out the direction I want my story to head, but I'm still not sure how to make it weirdly clichéd or too... idk, feel-good and idealistic about battling and fixing a pretty messed up future to be believable within it's own context? If that makes any sense, at all. Also, I am still soooooo sloooooooooow at writing. But I'm sure I'll speed up with practice, I mean, this painting only took me 6 about hours, whereas like 3 years ago something like this would've taken me a total 24 hours of work. I just generally tend to assume most skills and hobbies funcion the same way.

I'm not sure if I wanna like, post this on here or something chapter by chapter, ooooooor work on it continuously and just post the whole thing all at once, and like, self-publish it as an illustrated book. I mean the last one is a good end goal either way, but like. Idk, maybe I'll make a poll? I dunno who is actually interested in my original content amongst those who follow me, particularly this specific story, or who would even be interested in reading my writing in particular since visual art is kinda my thing, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Anyway, the painting. In the Starfall future, holoraphic rooms are a common occurance, and some people will choose outdoor settings for their bedrooms. This is Sibyl's own room back in Kythera, with a (real) window that has a lovely view of the Venusian sky. I just kinda wanted to do more illustrations of the characters in their natural habitats and different outfits, I guess, and as the story goes on, I'll probably shift towards also doing more illustrations of specific scenes and whatnot.
